In the links for 11Mbps and 36 Mbps are presented maps of the theoretical coverage, calculated in the different floors through the program CINDOOR of the GISAR research group, with the current location of the access points.
Calculations are made at different speeds of transmission, in particular for 11Mbps (cards that meet the standard 802.11b) and 36 Mbps (cards that meet the standard 802.11g). For both cases  it has been considered a typical receiving PCMCIA card, with sensitivities of – 82 dBm to 11 and – 75 dBm to 36 Mbps.

It’s considered that, in general, the signal levels in the whole building are sufficient to get a good liaison in each of the floors.

So, areas of red have a greater intensity of signal, while in the dark blue, this will be reduced. The areas in white are places  where there is no coverage. You must press the suitable link, depending on the type of card  used to see the coverage in such floor. It is recommended to maximize the explorer’s window.

·        WARNING: These figures are only precise for cards with the sensitivities listed above, the coverage displayed may differ slightly if your card has other values. The values will differ in greater proportion if there are other antennas outside the control of the IT Service in the buildings. Also coverage will vary if there are changes in the structural elements or connect devices that distort the space of radio frequency.
