What does the Program consist of?

 

Program description

 

The "Diploma in Civil Engineering Fundamentals" offers a cluster of courses taught in English in fundamental disciplines for the training of Civil Engineers. Teaching will be carried out in small international groups.

5644 Uncertainty Analysis in Engineering (6 ECTS Cr.)

5640 Mechanical Properties of Materials, Processing and Design (6 ECTS Cr.)

The Program also offers, in a compatible timetable with the technical courses, a '5643 Spanish Course' (6 ECTS Cr.) during the fall semester and the course '5649 Prehistoric European Art' (6 ECTS Cr.) during the spring semester.

 

Faculty

 

The Program will be taught by University of Cantabria faculty staff with wide teaching and research experience on Civil Engineering, in an international context together with guest professors from other universities.

Eligibility criteria

 

UC students: must be third year students of “Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos” or second year students of “Ingeniero Civil” and obtain, in both cases, admission to the program.  

International students: equivalent skills to two years of Civil Engineering training and approval of the Program Management .

Enough linguistic knowledge to study in English.
